  MASTERS' WATERCOLOR

I have created links to my favorite watercolor artists. Thanks to on-line museums and galleries, we can enjoy their work on the Internet. I feel that we will always learn something from these masters.

John Singer Sargent (1856-1925, American Painter)

It was his mother who discovered his artistic talent. He surprised people with his drawings and watercolor paintings when he was young. They said that he carried his watercolor set, which was first given in his boyhood and had been his long friend, to everywhere he went. The way he used colors and bold brush strokes is amazing.
